POSITION PAPER: MOTOR VEHICLE INSPECTIONS
Introduction:
Regular inspections of all vehicles used on our roads is essential to ensure that they are maintained in a safe and road-worthy condition.
BRONZ Inc Policy:
BRONZ Inc supports the regular inspections of all motor vehicles to ensure that they are maintained in a safe and road-worthy condition. In particular:
- Vehicle Inspection Authorities, rather than vehicle repairers, would give a better and more uniform service;
- Owners of vehicles should be encouraged to maintain their vehicles to WOF and COF standards between inspections;
- Unsafe modifications to vehicles should not be accepted.
Summary:
BRONZ Inc supports regular, independent vehicle inspections for all road vehicles, and encouragement of owners to maintain their vehicles to the required standards between inspections.
