POSITION PAPER: MOTOR VEHICLE INSURANCE
Introduction:
Third Party insurance (as a minimum) should be a requirement of all registered motor vehicles.
BRONZ lnc Policy:
BRONZ Inc supports the requirement of a minimum of Third Party insurance for all registered motor vehicles. In particular:
- Compulsory insurance would assist in alleviating some of the financial strain on vehicle owners, when, through no fault of their own their vehicle is damaged;
- Recovery of payment for damages would be easier as all damage by an owner of a registered motor vehicle would be from their insurance company;
- The policy of compulsory insurance would ensure that costs would remain fair and equitable between all vehicle owners;
- Comprehensive insurance, although preferable, may not be applicable in all cases.
Summary:
BRONZ Inc supports compulsory vehicle insurance for owners of all registered motor vehicles. Although comprehensive insurance is preferable, Third Party insurance should be a minimum
